“There’s just no way I’m ever doing this again,” I said as I surveyed the damage I had done to a previously decent looking room.
Those words came about 2 weeks after I started the project of laying down laminate flooring in the living room by using another phrase: “How hard could possibly be?”
As it turns out, there are some tools, tips, and tricks that could’ve made my project something a lot more enjoyable and successful, and the Habitat For Humanity ReStore is hosting workshop to help you add those helpful things to your arsenal!
Tonight’s workshop focuses on flooring selection and installation, and it’s totally free. You can even bring your kids, and they’ll have a fun project to work on while you learn.
To celebrate Women In Construction Week, Anne Pfleger stopped by to fill me in on the workshop and more.
