Ahhh, Fall is officially here! When I was younger, Fall meant two things: Football, and Halloween…and you didn’t even start getting into them until October. Now, by the beginning of August people are itching to wear sweaters, drink pumpkin spice lattes, and decorate their homes to emulate a haunted house and/or pumpkin patch.
Fall is my favorite season for a ton of different reasons. In my humble opinion, the weather during Fall is unbeatable. You can pretty much wear whatever you want and be comfortable. It’s not too hot, not too cold…you might as well call me Goldilocks. It’s also absolutely beautiful outside during Fall. The leaves are a variety of different colors, and they change by the hour. The sun shines through them, creating the most warm shades of orange, brown, green, and yellow throughout the trees. To me, Fall is a season of renewal, even thought technically it’s a season of things coming to end to make way for winter (my least favorite season). I feel inspired, reborn, and re energized during Fall, so naturally, I’m at my most productive. It’s such a weight off my shoulders to get things done, so Fall is a huge time for me to accomplish tasks I’ve put off throughout the year. I have to admit…I’m not too crazy about the pumpkin spice craze that has taken over everyone’s taste buds in recent years, but a piece of pumpkin bread will ALWAYS be a part of my Autumn.
I hope this upcoming Fall season is a joyous one for you. Rake some leaves, share a pumpkin pie with friends, and cheer your favorite football team…all thanks to Autumn!
