3 hurt in crash on Hancock County 220

MORTIMER — Three motorists were injured in a three-vehicle crash late Wednesday on Hancock County 220, north of Findlay.
Taken to Blanchard Valley Hospital by Hanco Ambulance were Richard Dillingham, 59, of Findlay, and two Deshler women, Danielle Rader, 20, and Ciera Roe, 19, Hancock County Sheriff’s Deputy Matthew Brunswick reported.
The crash was reported at 10:42 p.m. on County 220, just north of Allen Township 101.
Deputy Brunswick said Tanya Craun, 42, of Findlay, was driving a Chevy Impala south on County 220 when she turned east into a private drive, but failed to yield the right of way to Dillingham, who was driving a Dodge Caravan north on County 220.
Dillingham hit the rear of the Chevy Impala, then went left of center and collided with a southbound Dodge Dart driven by Rader, the deputy said. Roe was a passenger in the Dodge Dart.
All three vehicles were heavily damaged, the deputy said. The vehicles driven by Dillingham and Rader were towed.
Craun was cited for failure to yield the right of way when turning left, Deputy Brunswick said.
Assisting at the crash scene were the Allen Township Fire Department, Mac & Bob’s Towing, and Dick’s Towing.
