Police searching for property damage suspects

The Findlay Police Department is looking for two men who investigators believe are responsible for damaging several downtown businesses and some cars last weekend. The men were seen leaving Alexandria’s, 132 E. Crawford St., and walking toward South Main Street early Saturday morning, according to the police department. Damage was sustained to numerous businesses and vehicles between the 400 and 600 blocks of South Main Street, police reported. One suspect was wearing a blue Under Armour t-shirt and white baseball hat. The other man was wearing shorts and a long-sleeve shirt. Those with information are asked to contact 419-424-7150.

Injury accident reported on U.S. 23 near Upper Sandusky

UPPER SANDUSKY — Wyandot County Sheriff Office and emergency medical service personnel have responded to a reported injury accident at U.S. 23 and Wyandot County Highway 44 northwest of Upper Sandusky about 3:30 p.m. Additional information will be posted when it is available.

Former city employee sentenced to 3 years in prison

A former computer services director for the city of Findlay was sentenced to 3 years in prison for charges stemming from a traffic accident last year that injured two women. Justin Weddington, 31, of Rudolph, was sentenced by Judge Reginald Routson to 18 months in prison for two counts of aggravated vehicular assault, both third-degree felonies. The sentences will be served consecutively. The prosecution and defense jointly recommended the 3 year sentence. DeHaven charged with not paying state taxes

A former Findlay business owner and a Lima businessman has been indicted on charges that accuse him of not paying his state taxes. The Lima News reported that Tim DeHaven, 70,  pleaded not guilty to the charges Tuesday. The report says DeHaven doesn’t dispute owing the state money and plans to pay everything he owes. During the hearing, DeHaven said he is having financial problems and his wife, JoAnn, has been battling cancer in recent years. Where did you grow up?  I grew up on a small farm just south of Rawson.

Do you have any siblings?  I have twin brothers that are four years younger than me.

When did you know you wanted to be on the radio?  I knew in the 8th grade. Mike McKitrick who at the time was the morning man on WFIN came to my English class to talk about a career in radio.

Do you have any nick names?  My nickname in high school was “Red”  My hair used to be red… when I had hair.

What is your favorite sport?  Football at all levels

Favorite food?  BBQ and Chinese
