Lady Antebellum Continue ‘Humbling’ Vegas Residency

Lady A returned to Las Vegas over the weekend for the continuation of their first-ever residency, Our Kind of Vegas, at the Palms Casino Resort’s Pearl Concert Theater. The first Country act to headline the venue, Hillary Scott, Charles Kelley and Dave Haywood played to capacity crowds and were joined by their longtime friend and songwriter Dave Barnes (“God Gave Me You” by Blake Shelton, “Cry Pretty” by Carrie Underwood, “Craving You” by Thomas Rhett). Together, in-the-round style, Lady A and Barnes took turns performing stripped-down versions and the stories behind some of their biggest hits.

Lady A has been putting together shows and touring for nearly a decade, but Hillary tells us this run in particular holds a special place in the trio’s hearts. [“The Vegas residency was one of the most humbling opportunities we’ve ever been given. I mean, to be, in their eyes, established enough as a band that we have a spot on a marquis in that town is just pretty incredible, and I can say it’s the most fun we’ve ever had putting a show together. (Charles) Yeah (Hillary) We’ve never put a show together like that and I don’t know if we’ll ever like do it again.”] SOUNDCUE (:25 OC: . . . do it again.)

The Our Kind of Vegas residency continues this week with shows tomorrow (Wednesday, May 15th), Friday (May 17th) and Saturday (May 18th) with limited tickets still available at ticketmaster.com/LadyA.
