Trisha Yearwood has released a brand new single called “Every Girl In This Town.” It’s the debut release from Trisha’s upcoming studio album, her first full-length country album since 2007’s Heaven, Heartache and the Power of Love.
Trisha tells us the song’s powerful message immediately drew her in. [“When I heard ‘Every Girl In This Town’ for the first time, I wanted to stand up and start shouting! It’s that kind of song! It just feels good. It just emerged as a statement that is kind of undeniable. I love the lyrics in the song that basically say, ‘It’s okay to be however you are.’ And we all have these dreams. We’re all trying. We’re all falling. We’re all failing. I love this lyric that says, ‘You’ve got this, baby. So what if you don’t.’ It’s almost like, ‘You’ve got this. But if you don’t it’s okay, too.’”] SOUNDCUE (:27 OC: . . . it’s okay, too.)
