Jimmy Johnson Retires From Fox NFL Coverage After 30+ Years

After over 30 years as a broadcaster, 81-year-old Jimmy Johnson has announced his retirement from Fox Sports’ NFL coverage.“ The most fun I ever had in my career, that’s counting Super Bowls and national championships, was at Fox Sports,” the former football coach said. “I’m going to miss it. I’m going to miss all the guys. I’ll see them occasionally. It’s been a great run starting 31 years ago.” Known for winning two Super Bowls with the Dallas Cowboys, Johnson transitioned to TV, joining Fox’s pre and post-game show in 1994. Speculation about his retirement had surfaced during Fox’s Super Bowl pregame coverage, which featured a tribute to the Hall Of Famer. (Daily News)
