Jail Celebrates First IGNITE Program Graduates

(From the Wood County Sheriff’s Office)

This morning marked our 1st IGNITE group graduation ceremony!

These individuals completed the Peer-to-Peer Support Group class in our jail, facilitated by NAMI Wood County.

IGNITE is designed to provide incarcerated individuals with meaningful educational opportunities that instill hope and prepare them for successful reintegration into society.

The program partners with businesses and community organizations to deliver practical, job-ready skills.

We are so proud of all of our partners to make IGNITE possible, our staff who make it happen, and our inmates who choose to participate in these programs.

We are so proud of them!
