Arraignment Hearing Held For Woman Charged With Murder

The arraignment hearing was held for a Findlay woman accused in the shooting death of a woman last fall.

Court records show Sierra Eady entered a plea of not guilty, and her bond was set at $250,000.

She could post bond by posting 10 percent through a bail bondsman, and for the full amount through the court.

If the defendant does post bond, an in-person hearing would be held before she’s released.

A pretrial hearing has been set for April 21 in Hancock County Common Pleas Court.

Eady, 35, is facing charges of murder, reckless homicide, and voluntary manslaughter in the death of Breanna Gonzalez, 31.

On November 14, 2025, police responded to an address in the 1600 block of Queenswood Drive to investigate a report of an accidental discharge of a weapon.

Officers say they located Breanna Gonzales, 31, and Sierra Eady, 35, both of Findlay, inside the residence.

Police said Gonzales had a gunshot wound to the head.

She was transported to the hospital with life-threatening injuries and later died.

A coroner determined Gonzalez died from a gunshot wound to the head and ruled the manner of death as homicide.
