Nursing Team Honored For Making Special Difference In Patient’s Life

The Cath Lab nursing team has received a DAISY Foundation Award!

This group was nominated by a fellow BVHS nurse after they received emergency cardiac care at Blanchard Valley Hospital. They are incredibly grateful to work with and to have received treatment from such an excellent team of caregivers.

“All the nurses know if you’re going to the Cath lab with your patient, bring a sweatshirt because it’s chilly,” the nominator said. “But the warm blanket they gave me was nothing compared to the warmth that came from my peers. The compassion and reassurance, the humor to treat my fear, and the genuine love that came from this team were top-notch.”
