Man Arrested In ‘Internet Crimes Against Children’ Investigation

On April 30, 2026, the Wyandot County Major Crimes Unit, with assistance from the Wyandot County Sheriff’s Office, executed a residential search warrant at 16409 County Highway 86, Forest, Ohio, following a tip received from the Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) Task Force. The investigation involves the alleged possession and dissemination of child pornography.
During the execution of the search warrant, authorities arrested Clayton D. Hare, 21, who was identified as the subject of the investigation. Several electronic devices were seized from the residence as part of the ongoing investigation.
Hare was transported to the Wyandot County Jail, where he is currently being held pending formal charges for pandering obscenity involving a minor. The investigation remains active, and additional charges related to child pornography may be filed following review by Wyandot County Prosecutor Eric Figlewicz.
