Zach Bryan Deletes Social Media After Fan Confrontation
Zach Bryan deactivated his social media accounts following backlash from a fan interaction at Mississippi State University.
A fan who waited early at concert gates approached Bryan for a photo, but the singer instead quoted Netflix’s I Think You Should Leave sketch show, asking: “You think any ghosts ever come out of the walls with a big c-shot?” The fan, claiming to be Bryan’s “number 1 fan” for four years, posted disappointment online, writing they didn’t want Bryan “canceled” but felt the comment showed “his true self.”
Bryan responded on X, calling critics “so soft & weird” before deleting both his X and Instagram accounts. Most online users recognized the vulgar question as a comedy reference, but the original fan didn’t understand the joke.
This pattern isn’t new for Bryan, who frequently becomes frustrated with social media interactions and has previously left platforms temporarily. (Story URL)
