Ohio Senate Passes Bill Protecting Thin Blue Line Flag

(ONN) – The Ohio Senate has passed a bill to protect the right to fly a Thin Blue Line Flag in HOA communities.

POW/MIA flags like the one outside the Ohio Statehouse are allowed to be flown in neighborhoods with homeowners’ associations.

Now, lawmakers are considering adding the Thin Blue Line Flag to that approved list.

Senate Bill 202 would ban homeowners’ associations, civic associations, and landlords from prohibiting residents from flying the Thin Blue Line Flag.

The Ohio Senate passed the bill, and it now goes to the Ohio House for consideration.

The bill is named for former Kirkersville Police Chief Steven DiSario, who was killed in the line of duty.
