Farmers’ Market Relocating Due To The Heat
(From The Hancock County Farmers’ Market)
|
The Hancock County Farmers’ Market will be held this Thursday, July 16, from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. at the D.O.C.K. at St. Marks United Methodist Church, 800 South Main Street, Findlay. The market will not be held at its usual location at the Marathon Center for the Performing Arts this week. Vendors will be located both inside the air-conditioned D.O.C.K. and outdoors nearby, depending on their products and equipment. Customers will be able to shop the market and visit participating community organizations at one location. This is a one-time relocation for July 16. The farmers’ market is very grateful to St. Marks UMC for making the space available on short notice. Customers are invited to meander down South Main Street to the D.O.C.K. for local food, community resources, and continued access to SNAP/EBT, Power of Produce for children, Senior Farmers’ Market benefits, and WIC.
