Comcast is now considering spinning off NBCUniversal’s many cable networks (Bravo, MSNBC, CNBC, USA Network, E!, Syfy, Oxygen True Crime, Universal Kids and Universo) into a new publicly-traded company.


Ed Westwick and wife Amy Jackson are expecting their first baby. The couple shared maternity photos on Instagram. The pair, who married in August, received warm wishes from celebrity friends. They began dating two years ago.


Sony filed a lawsuit against CBS, accusing the network of failing to maximize revenues for Wheel Of Fortune and Jeopardy! Sony alleges misconduct, including unauthorized deals and ‘preferencing’ its own shows in negotiations.


CBS will air a TV special, The Making Of Gladiator II, providing a behind-the-scenes look at the making of the sequel to Gladiator. The special will feature insights from the cast, director Ridley Scott, and details on the production.


Young Thug, accused of leading a street gang, agreed to change his plea to guilty, potentially ending Georgia’s longest-running criminal trial. This followed co-defendants taking plea deals, leading to speculation of a mistrial.


Warner Bros. is developing a Game of Thrones film set in George R.R. Martin’s fantasy universe. Still in early stages, the project has no attached cast or crew yet. HBO has previously resisted turning the hit series into movies.


Alexandra Daddario, star of The White Lotus, welcomed her first baby with husband Andrew Form. She announced the news on Instagram with a Halloween-themed photo. Daddario is also a stepmom to Form’s two children.
