Gym Owner Accused Of Using Business For Drug Trafficking

(WTOL-11) – The owner of a gym in Fostoria has been charged in federal court after investigators say they seized nearly 90 pounds of drugs and hundreds of thousands of dollars in cash during a drug trafficking investigation.

According to a criminal complaint filed in US District Court for the Northern District of Ohio, 33-year-old Epolito Rodriguez is charged with possession with intent to distribute cocaine.

According to an affidavit filed by a DEA task force, investigators started looking into Rodriguez in late 2025 after receiving information that he was allegedly selling bulk quantities of cocaine, using his business, Power Up, to support the operation.
