House Fire In Findlay
Findlay firefighters battled a house fire on Friday night.
The Findlay Fire Department said the call of the fire at 130 Sherman Drive came in at 8:26 Friday night.
When crews arrived on the scene flames were coming from the attached garage.
Two people in the house were able to get out safely, but some cats perished in the fire.
The fire department was on the scene for approximately four hours.
One firefighter who was fighting the fire was taken to Blanchard Valley Hospital for evaluation and released.
The garage is a total loss, and there is smoke damage throughout the rest of the house.
No word on the cause of the fire.
