Kiwanis Donates New Bicycles That Were Given Away At Event
(From the Findlay Police Department)
Thank you to everyone that came out for our Bicycle Rodeo this past weekend.
Due to the rain, we were unable to select the winners for our bicycle giveaways at the event, but would like to announce them now.
Thank you to Kiwanis Club of Findlay for volunteering at the event and providing the bicycles.
The winners for the bicycles are:
Greyson Ammon
Arlo Carpenter
Olen Keefe
Rowan Parker
Contact has been made with most families already, but some did not have a phone number. You can email Officer Brian White at [email protected] to make arrangements to collect your bicycle.
(From The Kiwanis Club of Findlay)
The Kiwanis Club of Findlay had a fantastic time Saturday at the Findlay Police Department’s Bicycle Rodeo at the Marathon Center for the Performing Arts!
This free, family-friendly event is all about promoting healthy living and bike safety for area youth. From a light breakfast to safety stations, road courses, and obstacle courses, the kids had an absolute blast learning and practicing safe riding habits. Free helmets and bicycle licenses were also provided to keep our young riders safe on the road!
As a club dedicated to improving the world one child and one community at a time, we were thrilled to support this event in two big ways today:
- Our Kiwanis members handed out free Child Identification Kits to parents.
- We donated 4 brand-new bicycles for the Findlay Police Department to give away to some very lucky participants!
A huge thank you to the Findlay Police Department and all the wonderful families who came out to make today such a success. Keep riding safely, Findlay!
