Liberty-Benton Announces Launch Of JROTC Program

We are excited to announce the launch of our new JROTC program, designed to help students grow as leaders both inside and outside the classroom!

Leading the program will be Major Joel Sabella, who brings an impressive background of service, education, and leadership to our students. Major Sabella served in the United States Army for 20 years and holds a Master’s degree in Higher Education, Administration, and Leadership, as well as a Bachelor’s degree in Childhood Special Education. In addition to his military experience, he has taught at the collegiate level as an Assistant Professor of Military Science and has a strong background in communications and technology.

This new program will focus on student leadership development, teamwork, communication, responsibility, and preparing students for success in whatever path they choose after graduation.

We are excited to welcome Major Sabella and look forward to the positive impact this program will have on our students and school community!
