Reward Offered For Info In Hit-And-Run Death Of Construction Worker

On Feb 28, 2026 at approximately 2am the suspect vehicle entered the construction zone on Interstate 70 near SR 315. The suspect vehicle was traveling westbound on Interstate 70. The suspect vehicle struck a generator and then a construction worker. The victim was identified as 25-year-old Jordan Thomas. Mr. Thomas was employed by Kokosing Construction at the time of the crash. Police are seeking information about the suspected vehicle, a Maroon Toyota sedan and also the driver. KoKosing Construction is offering a 100-thousand-dollar reward for information leading to the arrest of the suspected driver.
