Sheriff’s Office Holding Third And Final Event In Youth Wellness Series

(From Hancock County Sheriff Michael Cortez)

Reminder: Community Wellness Series at Cory Rawson High School

Join us for the third and final event in our three-part Community Wellness Series, Choices & Challenges, taking place in Hancock County at Cory-Rawson High School on Wednesday, May 6, 2026, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM.

This series is focused on raising awareness about the at-risk behaviors and exposures impacting the youth of Hancock County. We encourage all community members to attend and learn more about what our youth here in Hancock County are reporting as issues they are facing in today’s world. This is an important opportunity for parents, guardians, educators, and community members to better understand these challenges and be part of the conversation.

Those who attended the first session shared powerful feedback, including:“This was very informative and I wish we had this available for some of my older children,” and “The discussion panel was very helpful and provided some insight on issues I had not considered before.”

We hope you will join us for this important community conversation as we continue working together to support the health, safety, and well-being of our youth.
