The Hancock County Sheriff’s Citizens Academy offers residents a unique opportunity to experience law enforcement firsthand.

Participants will receive hands-on exposure to:

-Patrol Operations & Traffic Enforcement

-Criminal Investigations

-Jail & Corrections Operations

-911 Communications (Dispatch)

-K-9, Drone, SWAT, & Special Operations

-Firearms & Use of Force Overview (Safety-Focused)

-Law Enforcement Technology & Real-Time Systems

Schedule: Wednesdays | 6:00 PM – 9:00 PM

Duration: 9 Weeks

Location: Hancock County Justice Center & Training Facilities
