Spring Statewide Burn Ban In Effect

Ohio’s spring statewide daytime burn ban is in effect from March 1, 2026, through May 31, 2026. According to Ohio Revised Code 1503.18, open burning is prohibited in unincorporated areas between 6 a.m. and 6 p.m. during these months to prevent wildfires caused by dry, windy spring conditions.
