Student Using Her Passion For Drawing To Make A Difference
(From Findlay City Schools)
Meet Abbigale McCumber, a 6th grader at Glenwood Middle School, who is using her passion for drawing to make a difference. Abbigale recently won the T-shirt design contest for an organization that supports speech therapy.
Her inspiration? Her brother, Colton. Abbigale drew Colton’s favorite—a Wacky Inflatable Tubeman—and it’s now the official design!
This artistic journey started right here in Trojan Country. Abbigale credits her growth to our FHS Art Camp (registration is open now and linked below!) and the incredible mentorship of two of our art teachers, Mr. Bower and Mrs. Biggs. When we say our teachers “see” our students, this is what we mean.
Congratulations Abbigale!
